Yoshi is a dinosaur and one of the main characters in the Super Mario series. Often he is depicted as a Green Yoshi, but there more alternate Yoshi colors being used such as Red, Pink, Yellow, Light Blue, Blue, Orange, Green, Purple, White, Black and brown. Furthermore, Yoshi has his own series including several puzzle games and platform games such as Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi Touch and Go.
